JUPITER’S KISS Do U Wish 2 Continue?

jupiters kiss do u wish 2 continue

Three years after the debut with “Maiden Voyage”, “Do U Wish 2 Continue?” marks the return of the Jupiter’s Kiss project. It is a work that invites you to dive even deeper, without a parachute, into a new sonic dimension.

The opening track, “Celestial”, with its 43 seconds, makes things clear right away: you find yourself at the center of a constant shift of horizons, ready to step onto an unpredictable roller coaster. Immediately after comes “Warp”, a plunge into pure electronics where clear echoes of Aphex Twin can be felt. The following track, “Novelty”, deconstructs the traditional pop structure to give life to a strange, almost alien sound, rich with ambient influences.

The entire album works like a series of windows opening unexpectedly, as if a brilliant operating system decided to guide the user toward unexpected destinations every single time. Continuous references surface throughout the tracks: from vocals evoking Martin L. Gore of Depeche Mode to shades of Sting or Michael Jackson, all immersed in ’80s and ’90s electronics.

The heart of the album lies in the title track. The song starts like an ascent toward a Dantesque Paradise: expanded sounds, Middle Eastern references, and a magma of vocals that take the listener by the hand. It is a track that breathes, capable even of moving you to tears and turning the spirit into solid matter, like clay to touch and admire.
