In the second half, “Great Mother” slows the pace, offering a moment of relief and emotional space. Immediately after, “I Think I Deleted It” bursts with energy: intelligent lyrics and hints of Röyksopp, a standout single that grips without compromise. The first time we played it on loop five times in a row, it felt incredibly fresh each listen.
Closing the circle, “Still Here Though” brings a confessional, almost intimate touch, completing a journey that both shakes and embraces the listener. “Maintenance Mode” is electronic music that feels alive, human, full of detail and sensitivity: one of the most compelling works we’ve heard so far in 2026.

L’elettronica è brillante e dettagliata, ma mai fine a sé stessa; le parole hanno peso reale e la produzione in cuffia regala un’esperienza immersiva: bassi profondi, mixaggio nitido e transizioni perfettamente cadenzate. La seconda traccia, “Temper Temper (Lumière Menteuse)”, sposta l’atmosfera verso un’elettronica più cinematografica, con echi anni ’80 e tastiere che sembrano uscite da una puntata di “Miami Vice”. È nostalgia reinterpretata, elegante e mai citazionismo vuoto. “Talk To A Wall” alterna accelerazioni e frenate con grande maestria, trasportandoti in un mood dark: sembra di essere in una discoteca berlinese mentre il mondo fuori va letteralmente a puttane. Poi “Rest/Push/Collapse” conferma il talento di Melissa Geurts nel costruire dinamiche complesse e ritornelli incisivi, tanto da apparire un singolo immediato.
Nella seconda parte, “Great Mother” rallenta i ritmi, offrendo respiro e una pausa emotiva. Subito dopo, “I Think I Deleted It” esplode con energia: testo intelligente ed echi di Röyksopp, un potenziale singolo clamoroso che cattura senza compromessi. La prima volta l’abbiamo messa in loop cinque volte di fila, e ci è sembrata incredibilmente fresca a ogni ascolto.
A chiudere il cerchio, “Still Here Though” porta un tratto confidenziale, quasi intimo, completando un percorso capace di scuotere e accogliere allo stesso tempo. “Maintenance Mode” è un disco di elettronica viva, umana, gravida di dettagli e sensibilità: uno dei lavori più convincenti ascoltati finora nel 2026.
