The voice vaguely recalls Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries, but it is a fascination that works and gives the piece a distinctive character. We especially liked it for its lyrics, intense and filled with a sense of unease, but also for its epic quality. The words describe an obsession caught between the desire to hold someone close and the need to disappear, while the music expands those emotions and takes them somewhere bigger. A piece that leaves a strong impression.
