A truly fine concert, the one we attended in Paris. Dan Black took the stage at Le Pop-Up du Label, in an intimate, almost domestic setting that immediately framed the show as a close encounter rather than a club-style performance. A “living room” live set, for a small circle of people, where even a few technical glitches found their own justification.
