La canzone funziona, e lo fa fin dal primo ascolto: ha energia, un’identità precisa, e una linea melodica nel ritornello che resta impressa. Forse – e lo diciamo solo come piccolo appunto – si sarebbe potuto fare qualcosa di più con le seconde voci nel ritornello, ma va bene anche così. Il brano ha un’attitudine che richiama l’universo sonoro delle Hole, e immaginiamo che anche Courtney Love potrebbe apprezzarlo. Il risultato è solido, spontaneo, grintoso: un pezzo che non cerca approvazione, ma se la prende da solo.

The song works – and it does so right from the first listen. It’s energetic, has a clear identity, and the chorus melody really sticks. Maybe – just as a small note – the backing vocals in the chorus could have been pushed a bit further, but it still works just fine. The track carries a vibe reminiscent of Hole’s sound, and we can imagine even Courtney Love might enjoy it. It’s a solid, gritty, and confident song – one that doesn’t ask for approval, it earns it on its own.
