C’è un’energia familiare che pulsa sotto la superficie di questo pezzo. Se le strofe preparano il terreno con cura, è il ritornello a piazzare la zampata decisiva, riconnettendoci al volo con quel rock americano a cavallo tra anni ’80 e ’90. Impossibile non pensare alle primissime cose dei R.E.M., ma le sfumature sono ampie e accolgono persino certi echi degli U2. Il risultato è un brano che, pur masticando influenze giganti, dimostra una personalità e un’identità propria davvero forti.

There is a familiar energy pulsing beneath the surface of this track. If the verses prepare the ground with care, it is the chorus that delivers the decisive strike, immediately reconnecting us with that American rock between the 80s and 90s. It is impossible not to think of the very early R.E.M. things, but the nuances are wide and even welcome certain echoes of U2. The result is a song that, while chewing giant influences, shows a truly strong personality and an identity of its own.
